You’ve read the article How to Buy the Perfect Gift Using Mindfulness and put in the work of getting to know the person on your gift list. Congratulations! However, during your discovery, you learn this person is a minimalist.
What is a minimalist?
A minimalist is a person who has less stuff in all aspects of their life. They keep everything simple. They relish in life experiences instead of material things.
You will never buy a minimalist some Knickknack to sit on a shelf and think they are going to get excited about it. It will never happen. Instead, they see this as something that will hold them down and keep them from living life.
That is perfectly fine. It doesn’t mean you can’t buy tangible products, but if you do, keep them useful and simple.
Some people claim that buying for a minimalist is hard. I say those people are not mindful nor creative. A minimalist is usually easier to buy for than you think if you think outside your world.
