The holiday season is right around the corner, and that means you are probably searching for the perfect gift for everyone on your list. If that person loves yoga, I can help. Whether you have a newbie to yoga or the experienced yogi in your life, one of these gifts is sure to make them appreciate you and yoga even more.

Mat
The first thing I bought when I started practicing yoga was a mat. My favorite yoga mat and the one I’ve had the longest is the Aurorae Extra Thick Yoga Mat. It comes in many colors and a few cool designs. The only drawback is that I have a 120-pound dog that likes to be on the mat with me while I practice yoga, which doesn’t leave much room for me. For a while now (and after much research ), I’ve had the Gorilla Premium 6’x4′ Excercise Mat on my wish list to accommodate the dog and me. If you practice yoga with your dog, children, or anyone else, this would be a great choice.
Cushion
If you need support for your back, hips, or legs during yoga practice, I suggest you get a yoga cushion. They can also be used to sit on during meditation for extra support. My choices are the Ajna Yoga Bolster Pillow and the YogaAccessories Cotton Yoga Bolster.
Inspirational Décor
If your yogi has a designated space to practice, why not get them some inspiration decor to dress it up? My guy got me a huge Lotus Flower Decal that is on the wall in my yoga area. I love it and the singing bowl that he also gifted to me. A few other great ideas that I love and your yoga lover will too are the happy Buddha statue and Be Here Now Mobile. If you are looking for any inspirational gifts for someone you love or to add some zen into your own home, I suggest checking out Buddha Groove. I love their products!
Jewelry
Practicing yoga is a way of life, and it doesn’t end after we finish the last pose of the day. Jewelry gifts are perfect for inspiring and keeping focus. These are some of my favorites (and on my wish list…hint hint) The Mindfulness Mantra Silver Ring, Breathe In, Breathe Out Spinning Meditation Ring, Wooden Namaste Charm Bracelet and Live in Gratitude Sterling Silver Ring.
One more! It’s the motto around here on this blog and has been taken from the man that started me on my mindful journey fourteen years ago. Thich Nhat Hanh No Mud No Lotus Pendant Necklace.
Videos
I live in the middle of nowhere. That means there is not a yoga studio that is easily accessible for me to attend. For those like me, yoga DVDs are the best option. My favorites include Kundalini Yoga From Beginners to Beyond, Kundalini Yoga A Journey Through the Chakras, and Kundalini Yoga to Detox and Destress with Maya Fiennes.
Book
If the person you are buying for loves to read, why not grab a book on yoga? These are my top picks. The Yoga Bible by Christina Brown, Yoga for Life: A Journey to Inner Peace and Freedom, and my personal favorite, Yoga for Real Life by Maya Fienes.
Journal
Does your yogi like to write? How about this Yoga Journal by Daily Greatness. It’s a perfect way to empower your yogi by combining a journal with a daily planner and other tools.
Leggings
I have to say that I’ve owned some costly yoga pants, but which ones are my favorite? Not those. They are the cheapest ones I’ve ever bought. They feel like I’ve covered my legs in butter. Leggings Depot High Waisted Leggings come in a variety of colors and styles. Your yoga lover will love these, I promise.
